The Medicare-funded Couples Carrier test requires Medicare eligibility, as it includes a bulk-billed Core test for the person assigned female at birth. Currently, we don't offer a non-Medicare version of this test, though we're working to expand our services.
If you don't have Medicare, our Comprehensive Carrier Screening is an excellent alternative—and it's actually more thorough. It provides both an individual carrier status report and a combined couples report. This comprehensive screening helps you understand your genetic carrier status, inform your health decisions, share important genetic information with family members, and prepare for future family planning.
